Don’t Miss “Beetlejuice” at the National Theatre
‘Tis the season to enjoy spooky stories, and there’s nothing spookier than a twisted tale from Tim Burton. The film Beetlejuice is among his most famous works, and a musical adaptation of the movie is currently playing on a stage near you. Beetlejuice is at the National Theatre now through November 18th.
True to the original, this rendition of Beetlejuice, the musical follows teenager Lydia Deetz as she moves into a new home with her two off-the-wall parents. She’s surprised to find that they’re not alone in the home—the ghosts of the former owners and an offbeat demon seem to be sharing the space. Instead of getting spooked, Lydia enlists these dearly departed characters to help scare off her irritating parents so that she can live happily ever after on her own.
